When it comes to traveling with your pet, you can never be too prepared.  That’s why we’ve come up with a list of pet-friendly hotels, pet resorts, dog parks, and other pet-friendly places in Lodi.  

Pet-friendly Places to Stay

Best Western (I-5) This hotel is conveniently located off of I-5 and welcomes pets to their hotel for a low non-refundable fee of $15 per night.

Econolodge Located close to Downtown Lodi, the Econolodge welcomes one pet per room for a $20 non-refundable fee. Also, owners of larger breeds will be glad to find out that this hotel has a larger pet allowance set at 40 lbs. or less.

El Rancho Motel This hotel is located close to Highway 99 and the Grape Festival & Harvest Grounds. This pet-friendly hotel will accept your loving four-legged friend for a $10 non-refundable fee.

Flag City RV Resort When you’re traveling in your RV, Flag City is a great place to stop, especially if you have your pets with you. Flag City RV Resort allows each RV to bring up to 3 pets with them. While enjoying your stay, you and your puppy can go play in the 2.8 acre fenced in grassy area.

Holiday Inn Express Get comfy at the Holiday Inn Express with your furry friend for a non-refundable fee of $25.

Microtel Inn & Suites Located right off I-5, this hotel allows up to 2 pets are allowed for a non-refundable charge of $10 per pet.

Motel 6 You’ll be pleasantly surprised to learn that Motel 6 doesn’t charge a fee for you to bring your furry friend on vacation with you!

Wine & Roses Hotel, Restaurant, & Spa This luxurious hotel welcomes pets under 25 lbs. for a $45 non-refundable fee.  Wine & Roses is located close to Lodi Lake and has some ideal dog walking areas that your pooch is sure to love!

Allen’s Pet Resort Allen's Pet Resort is located near Micke Grove Park and offers compassionate boarding options, stylish grooming services for cats and dogs, and other services.

Sunset Kennels Garden Retreat Located close to I-5, Sunset Kennels Garden Retreat offers the largest indoor/outdoor accommodations in the area, grassy play yards, climate controlled rooms, 24-hr quality care, and more all within a county setting.

Sycamore Lane Kennels Located on a tranquil estate in Lodi, Sycamore Lane Kennels features services and facilities for the comfortable boarding of dogs and cats, grooming, daycare, training and canine playground activities!  

Where do you go for some doggie calisthenics?

Beckman Park, Lawrence Park, Vinewood (Lodi Dog Parks) are all great options to take your furry friend for a little outdoor activity. They offer large grassy areas to play and have fun with your pet!

Lodi Lake Lodi Lake is a great place to take your dog for a walk. Dogs are allowed in designated areas (trailer area and parking lot) and they must be kept on a leash that is 6 ft. or less. Take in the fresh air and beautiful view as you let your doggie stretch their legs!

Micke Grove Park This beautiful park is a wonderful place to take your pooch for a day outdoors! There is a $1 fee at the gate and a leash is required. You and your pet are sure to love all of the great trails to stroll along throughout the park.  

Restaurants & Wineries

Most of Lodi’s restaurants with outdoor seating areas allow your doggies to dine with you, but be sure to ask if your pooch can join you before sitting down to enjoy your meal! Also, as you stroll along the picturesque streets of Downtown Lodi your dog will enjoy the bowls of water some of the friendly store owners provide right outside their shops.

Finally, many of the wineries in the area are pet-friendly. Some of the wineries have their own doggies running around greeting the wine tasters as they arrive. Now that you know some of the key places to go with your pet, plan your next trip to Lodi, a very pet-friendly place!
