Grizzly Island Wildlife Area

This salt/freshwater marsh hosts one of the state’s most diverse groupings of birds, and California’s largest population of river otter.

Directions: Go west on Hwy 12 toward Rio Vista. Just east of Rio Vista, turn south on Grizzly Island Road. Continue south to Grizzly Island Refuge Area.
